Puglia is not simply a destination. It is an experience to be designed, told and lived.
This belief is at the heart of my new role as a lecturer within the Orientation Labs – Experiential Tourism and Territorial Enhancement, a training programme focused on the new opportunities emerging from tourism, events, hospitality and the promotion of the local territory.
The programme consists of five training days between September and October 2026, exploring topics that are closely connected to my professional journey: experiential tourism, cultural events, wedding tourism, territorial marketing, the promotion of Puglia and hospitality.
My professional journey began in the world of Wedding Planning, Event Design and Destination Weddings, but over the years I have developed a broader vision of what an event can represent.
A wedding or event in Puglia is not simply a day to organise.
It is a destination to tell a story about.
It is a territory to discover.
It is a combination of places, people, traditions, gastronomy, hospitality and experiences that can transform a stay into a lasting memory.
My background in Interior Design, Wedding Design and Event Planning has strengthened this belief: today’s events should be designed as complete and immersive experiences.

These topics may seem different, but they are deeply connected.
Because today’s travellers coming to Puglia are not simply looking for a beautiful venue.
They are looking for an experience.
Destination weddings are one of the most powerful forms of experiential tourism.
When a couple chooses Puglia for their wedding, they are not simply booking a reception.
They bring their friends and families with them.
They stay in local hotels, masserie and guest accommodations.
They discover restaurants and local products.
They visit villages and historic towns.
They enjoy welcome dinners, brunches, excursions and curated activities.
They discover the destination.
And this is where the role of the event professional evolves.
We are no longer simply event organisers. We become experience designers.
In my work in Puglia, I focus on connecting three essential elements:
Event planning, coordination, design and event management.
Venues, culture, traditions, gastronomy, craftsmanship and landscapes.
Guest experience, pre- and post-event activities, hospitality management and personalised services.
This is also why I have developed a dedicated Business Events offering, including pre- and post-event experiences, cultural and food & wine tours, group activities, hospitality, catering and event coordination.
Masserias, historic villages, olive groves, vineyards, the Mediterranean coastline, local gastronomy, craftsmanship and culture represent an extraordinary heritage.
But the real challenge is transforming these resources into meaningful experiences for travellers, wedding guests and corporate event participants.
A sunset aperitivo can become an experience.
A visit to a historic village can become a story.
A traditional dinner can become a networking opportunity.
A masseria can become the setting for an unforgettable destination wedding.
A landscape can become an integral part of an event’s identity.
This is the direction in which I want to continue developing my work.
Becoming a lecturer within this programme is not only an educational opportunity for me, but also an important moment of professional growth and exchange.
Sharing knowledge means continuing to study the territory, understand its potential and explore how Puglia can become increasingly competitive within the international landscape of destination weddings, events and experiential tourism.
My goal is to continue building a network of professionals, companies, venues and local operators with whom I can create authentic and memorable events and experiences in Puglia.
This new educational experience is also part of a broader professional journey focused on collaborating with event agencies, wedding planners, corporate event companies, destination management companies and professionals looking to create events in Puglia.
